The Chosen: Well Of Souls é um RPG de ação em um período sombrio do século XIX. A história gira em torno de 3 personagens: Frater Simon, Elena e Tong Wong (respectivamente mago, ladrão e guerreiro), que são membros das Fraternidades dos Guardas Misteriosos, organizações dedicadas a exterminar demônios e forças das trevas. Eles estão agora atrás de um feiticeiro imortal, Marcus Dominus Ingens, que comanda exércitos de demônios, convocados com as almas dos alquimistas e está empenhado em destruir o Enviado de Deus, um ser poderoso que aparece a cada 200 anos.

The powerful Sorcerer Marcus Dominus Ingens became immortal after unraveling the mystery of the Philosopher’s Stone. His pride and hunger for power made him eliminate all alchemists who's skills and knowledge equaled his. Now he keeps their souls in Golden Tanks and uses them for his evil purposes and controlling infernal forces. Whole armies of demons and devils are at his command. Hard-bitten, well trained in magic and alchemy, they traversed the world fighting against the powers of darkness. Now, their Fraternities need them back to face the whole army of infernal beasts.
